WORK EXPERIENCE AS TRANSLATOR

AFY Translation & Publishing Services, Namangan, Uzbekistan, Manager

He established this service to manage a group of freelance translators in English, German, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, French, Italian, Chinese, Turkish, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Kirghiz, Turkmen, Tatar, Ukrainian and Persian. He himself monitors and controls the projects in English, German, Uzbek and Turkish.

1999 – present

UNIVERSAL Language Services and Publications Inc., Istanbul, Turkey, Part-time Translator (1999-2000), Freelance Translator (2000 – present)

Has completed successfully many translation projects for Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen and other companies from English and German languages into Turkish. Has translated several documents, catalogues, manuals and especially softwares for various establishments.

Has completed successfully many translation projects for Hyundai, Samsung, Praktiker, Mitsubishi, Mercury and other companies from English and German  languages into Turkish. Responsible for the maintenance, repair and development of all the machines, energy systems and auxiliary facilities to maintain the quality and improve the efficiency as well as other technical affairs such as new projects and improvements. Also responsible for spare parts management. Has developed and implemented a new preventive maintenance program based on statistical methods, improved production quality, and reduced losses by 15%. Has additionally deputized many times temporarily the production management of the company. For the time being, he also serves as the representative of corporate management for quality management systems.

Responsible for evaluation of investment projects, follow-up of the projects, technical consultation of the factories located in different cities as well as the technical stores belonging to the group in various districts. Coordinated and managed a new paper production line in K.Maras city (15m USD), and a new corrugated board line in Corlu city (4m USD), and several other projects.

Has started TQM activities and prepared the documentation system to get ISO-9002 Certification.
